MLS Today: Play resumes after FIFA break

MLS resumes with a full slate of games -- 10 on Saturday and one on Sunday -- after most teams were off last weekend for the FIFA international break. For the complete schedule ...

SUSPENSION. Vancouver Whitecaps defender Sheanon Williams was arrested Thursday morning and charged with assault in connection with an alleged domestic incident. Williams has been suspended, pending investigations by MLS and the Vancouver Police Department. He will undergo an assessment by  doctors from MLS’s Substance Abuse and Behavioral Health Program doctors pursuant to the SABH Policy.

The Caps will also be without Costa Ricans Christian Bolanos and Kendall Waston, who were both hurt while playing in World Cup qualifying, for Saturday's game against FC Dallas.
