The Chicago Fire ran its unbeaten streak in MLS competitions to eight games with a 2-1 victory at the New England Revolution at Gillette Stadium. The win kept Chicago just one point back of Toronto FC in the Eastern Conference and Supporters' Shield race. Both Orlando City and the LA Galaxy earned draws at home on goals late in stoppage time.
