Sky Blue’s Australian forward Samantha “Sam” Kerr put herself in NWSL Goal of the Year contention with an overhead strike in her team’s 3-2 loss to the OrlandoPride. Kerr scored her fifth goal of the season off a pass from Maya Hayes after she evaded Ali Krieger’s challenge.
