Real Madrid signed 19-year-old Frenchman
Theo Hernandez from Atletico Madrid to a six-year contract for a transfer fee of $31 million. The left back played on loan to Spanish Cup runner-up
Alaves in 2016-17. The moves comes as Real Madrid loaned out one Portuguese defender,
Fabio Coentrao, to Sporting Lisbon and another,
Pepe, signed with Turkish champion Besiktas on a
free transfer.
