U.S. Abroad: Schoenfeld scores in Europa League win

Aaron Schoenfeld started and scored for Maccabi Tel Aviv in its 3-0 win over Albania's Tirana to move into the second round of the Europa League. Dion Acoff also advanced with Iceland's Valur, but Nermin Crnkic missed a crucial penalty kick for FK Sarajevo.

Crnkic could have broken a 3-3 aggregate tie with Moldova's Zaria Balti but missed his penalty kick. Zaria Balti went on to win 6-5 in a shootout/

Second Leg: 90 minutes, 1-0 vs. Ventspils (Latvia)
(Valur wins 1-0 on aggregate.)

First Leg: 90 minutes, 1-2 at Zaria Balti (Moldova)
Second Leg: 120 minutes, 2-1 vs. Zaria Balti (Moldova)
(Aggregate: 3-3; Zaria Balti wins 6-5 on penalties.)

First Leg: sub-13 minutes, 2-0 vs. Tirana (Albania)
Second Leg: 90 minutes, 1 goal 3-0 at Tirana (Albania)
