MLS Wednesday: Roldan caps historic Seattle comeback

Down 3-0 at home to D.C. United after 50 minutes, the Seattle Sounders rallied with four goals in 27 minutes for a 4-3 victory, becoming the first club in league history to win in regulation after trailing by three goals. The winning goal was scored by Cristian Roldan, who was released by the U.S. national team after the group stage of the Gold Cup.

Also on the national team front, Jermaine Jones played his first league game in more than two months when he came on in the second half of the LA Galaxy's 1-0 loss to Vancouver that left it with one win in 10 games at home in 2017.

Wednesday's most stunning result was Real Salt Lake's 4-1 win at Portland in a match that featured three straight red cards (two to the Timbers and one to RSL). RSL has now scored 10 goals in its last two games, both on the road.

Perhaps the worst (first) half in Sounders history, was followed by their best half ever.
