Business: AT&T remains with MLS with new presence

AT&T, the title sponsor of the MLS All-Star Game for seven years (2010-16), remains as a league sponsor, becoming the presenting sponsor of Decision Day on Oct. 22. It agreed to a sponsorship extension of its SUM deals with U.S. Soccer and the Mexican federation as well as MLS.

When AT&T first signed up with MLS in 2009, it was announced as the biggest sponsorship deal in league history. The new deal gives AT&T a strong presence across a number of promotional vehicles: the AT&T Goal of the Week, Month, and Year voting platforms. It also presents The Movement feature online at series,

AT&T also goes back with the U.S. national teams to 2009. It has been a sponsor of the Mexican national team's U.S. tour since 2005.
