The top crowd of 82,104 for Barcelona-Juventus on Saturday set a soccer record for MetLife Stadium, home of the NFL Giants and Jets.
The biggest surprise: the dropoff in support for Mexico matches. Just one Mexico game -- a friendly
against Croatia at the LA Coliseum -- has drawn more than 60,000 fans. In 2016, El Tri drew six crowds of 60,000-plus.
