Soccer America Women's College Top 25

UCLA, held to a 1-1 tie by Pepperdine, remained No. 1 in the Soccer America Women's College 25 rankings. The Bruins are the only unbeaten team in the top 10. Stanford is again No. 2 while Penn State, Florida and Duke round out the top 5.

Week 5's big results:

Princeton 0 West Virginia 1. For the second straight year, West Virginia handed the Tigers their first loss of the season. The first career goal from junior defender Vanessa Flores was the difference.

Florida State 0 North Carolina 1. Carolina won in Tallahassee for the first time since 2011 thanks to junior midfielder Dorian Bailey's goal in the 58th minute.

Florida 1 Mississippi 0. Mayra Pelayo's goal in the fifth minute was all the Gators needed to beat previously unbeaten Mississippi in Florida's first athletic event since Hurricane Irma forced the cancellation or postponement of all scheduled events.
