John Brooks is out for sure, while Geoff
Cameron is still recovering from a hamstring injury. Matt Besler went off in the last minute of Sporting Kansas City's 2-1 win over the LA Galaxy with an injury to his head that required
stitches above his right eye but is not expected to sideline him.
MLS. Chris Pontius scored his first two goals of the
season for the Philadelphia Union in its 3-1 win over the Chicago Fire, while Paul Arriola had his first two assists since joining D.C. United, connecting with Patrick Mullins on the
first two of his four second-half goals in the 4-0 win over the San Jose Earthquakes.
Germany. Christian Pulisic's
Borussia Dortmund remained in first place in the Bundesliga with a 6-1 win over Borussia Moenchengladbach. The goal it allowed was the first in six league games. Pulisic started but did not figure in
the scoring. Fabian Johnson got his first start of the season for Gladbach.
Other Americans in Europe: Weston McKennie, 19, got his second straight start for Schalke 04 in its
2-0 loss at second-place Hoffenheim.

Kicker has Pulisic rated third place for top players in the Bundesliga as of 9/24/17. Only Uth and Augustin are rated ahead of Pulisic. I hope he continues with such good form.
