Sam Kerr finishes NWSL season with bushel of scoring records

Sam Kerr topped the greatest season a player has ever had in the NWSL with her record-setting 17th goal in the season finale.

NWSL Semifinals:

Her goal in Sky Blue FC's 4-3 win over the Boston Breakers broke the single-season record she shared with Kim Little (Seattle Reign 2013). She also extended her NWSL career record for goals, now at 43 in five seasons.

Kerr also set records for most hat tricks in a season (2) and goals in a game (4).
