Hex Files: Jones and Molino lead young T&T squad

Trinidad & Tobago hasn't yet been eliminated from the 2018 World Cup, but it will take a miracle to even finish fourth in the Hexagonal and advance to the playoffs.

T&T would need to win at Mexico and beat the USA at home while making up the 12-goal advantage the USA has on goal difference. That won't happen.

Coach Dennis Lawrence is using the two games to test younger players. A dozen players called in last month were dropped, and the new players include a trio of uncapped players: Louisville City keeper Gregory Ranjitsingh, Josiah Trimmingham and Kathon St. Hillaire.

The squad is headed by Joevin Jones (Seattle Sounders) and Kevin Molino (Minnesota United).
