Trinidad & Tobago in the midst of one of its worst droughts ever

If Trinidad & Tobago manages to beat the USA and disrupt its World Cup plans, it will be one of the biggest upsets in the history of Concacaf.

The Soca Warriors' 3-1 loss at Mexico extended its losing streak in the Hexagonal to six games, its losing streak overall to seven games and its winless streak to nine games.

If it doesn't beat the USA on Tuesday, T&T will go down as the second-worst team in the history of the Hexagonal.

Worst Hexagonal teams:
2 Panama (2006)
3 Trinidad & Tobago (2016-17)
5 Trinidad & Tobago (2002)
5 Jamaica (2014)
6 Canada (1998)
6 Trinidad & Tobago (2010)

Not since a 1-0 victory over Panama on March 25, current head coach Dennis Lawrence's first qualifier in charge, has T&T won a game.

Not since 1985 has T&T gone as many games without a victory. That year it went 12 games without a win, including two losses to the USA in World Cup qualifying. It also had a 12-game winless streak in 1969-71.
