Honduras seeks to get Figueroa and Elis cleared for first leg of playoff

Honduras should hear shortly whether two suspended players, MLS players Maynor Figueroa and Alberth Elis, can face Australia in the first leg of their World Cup 2018 qualifying playoff.

Both players received their second yellow cards in the final Hexagonal match against Mexico. Peru and New Zealand had their yellow cards cleared ahead of their playoff.
