Pinho wins NASL Golden Ball for second time

Miami FC forward Stefano Pinho won the NASL Golden Ball award as the league's most valuable player in 2017.
Pinho, 26, had 17 goals and four assists for Miami FC, the spring and fall champion. He also won the NASL Golden Boot award as the league's top scorer.

The Brazilian scored four goals in a 7-0 victory over the San Francisco Deltas that clinched the spring title.
He also took home the NASL Golden Boot and Golden Ball awards in 2015 as a member of the Fort Lauderdale Strikers. He spent last season with Minnesota United, where he scored five goals.
