Datebook: U.S. men will open 2018 against Bosnia & Herzegovina

The U.S. men's national team will open its 2018 season against Bosnia & Herzegovina on Jan. 28 in Carson, Calif.

The U.S. Soccer release did not include details of the January camp or who would coach the team.

The USA has played Bosnia & Herzegovina only once, winning, 4-3, in a 2013 friendly.

A hat trick by Jozy Altidore and the debut appearances of John Brooks and Bobby Wood highlighted the win, which extended the USA's record winning streak to 12 games.

It will not be a good omen for the US Men's National Football Team  to start 2018 playing another National Football Team that carries a "&" in their name for a while.  Remember Trinidad & Tobago?  it is still a fresh wound.
