With several players still competing in college ball, nearly half the players on roster named are making their first appearance at a U-20 camp with Klimkova.

Fifteen of the players 15 were born in 1998, the age cut-off year for the 2018 U-20 Women’s World Cup, seven were born in 1999 and four in 2000. Seventeen are collegians whose seasons are over, eight are youth club players and one, forward Courtney Strode, is playing pro with Sweden's for Växjö DFF.

In December, the U.S. U-20s will compete at the first Women's Nike International Friendlies Dec. 7-11 in Lakewood Ranch, Florida, and play Brazil, England and Finland
