U.S. Open Cup: Christos FC clinches berth in next year's tournament

Baltimore's Christos FC, which advanced all the way to the fourth round of the 2017 U.S. Open Cup, clinched a berth in the 2018 first round with a 5-1 win over Pennsylvania's Phoenix SC in the third round of the Open Division qualifying.

SATURDAY. Irishman Daryl Kavanagh scored two goals to lead reigning U.S. Amateur Cup champion Lansdowne Bhoys past Philadelphia's Junior Lone Star U23s, 3-1.

NTX Rayados rallied from a goal down to beat Motagua New Orleans, 2-1, with a pair of goals in the last eight minutes and advance to the Open Cup for the seventh year in a row.
