Results: NAIA men's and women's opening rounds

The field are sets for the national championships to be held in Delray Beach, Fla. and Orange Bach, Fla.

MEN. Cardinal Stritch defeated Rio Grande, 5-4, in the big upset in the opening round of the NAIA Men's Tournament. Rio Grande is the only school to host an opening-round game every year of the national championship since its introduction in 2008 and had won all nine previous home games. Madonna and Wayland Baptist were the only other visiting teams to win and advance to national championships.

WOMEN. Unseeded Tennessee Wesleyan was the lone visiting team to win in the opening round of the NAIA Women's Tournament, beating No. 6 Keiser, 2-1. Keiser had won seven of its previous eight opening-round home contests.
