U.S. Abroad Tracker (25 and younger): Big Sunday for young Americans

Matt Miazga scored the late winner in Vitesse's 2-0 win over ADO Den Haag, while Julian Green, back from a long injury layoff, celebrated his first appearance with Greuther Fuerth in almost two months with a goal in its 4-0 win over St. Pauli. Jonathan Amon, 18, scored his first start for FC Nordsaelland, in its 6-0 win over Horsens.

Amon, whose brother Joe played for the U.S. U-17s and attended Clemson, moved to Denmark to attend a sports school in 2015 and signed a three-year deal with FC Nordsjaelland in May.

Mexico. Californian teenager Jonathan Gonzalez started for top-seed Monterrey in its 4-1 win over Atlas 4-1 that moved Los Rayados into the semifinals of Mexico's Liguilla with a 6-2 aggregate win. It was 3-0 after only 29 minutes thanks to goals by former FC Dallas academy player Rogelio Mori, Carlos Sanchez and Aviles Hurtado. Monterrey plays Morelia in the semifinals.

Belgium. Kenny Saief played his first game in more than four and a half months when he came on late in Gent's 3-1 win over Royal Excelsior Mouscron in Belgium's Jupiler Pro League.

Saief was scratched from the Gold Cup after making his U.S. debut against Ghana. He need hernia surgery but complications resulted in an infection that required he be hospitalized.
