American soccer fans have one thing to say to MR Gulati: THANK YOU!!!

Willing to bet the same critics of Sunil.
Will also be the first to critisize "whoever" follows him.

Having been involved in US Soccer since 1976, I will miss Sunil's leadership.  We have seen tremendous growth in the game in the USA over these years and Sunil has been a tremendous part of that growth.  I just hope that he moves on to bigger and better things at the FIFA level.  Whoever moves into this position has big shoes to fill.

Thanks, Sunil. You have served our sport and our nation well. I'm glad that Kyle Martino is looking to work with you on our World Cup bid!

Very classy move by someone who has made great contributions to US Soccer, and has the intelligence, humility, and maturity to recognize that he can better serve the US soccer scene by stepping aside.  Well done.
