Gonzalez's Monterrey plays to 1-1 tie at Tigres in first leg of Liguilla final

With rumors circulating about interest from Liverpool, Borussia Dortmund and Bayer Leverkusen, 18-year-old Jonathan Gonzalez played in his biggest game yet for Monterrey, its 1-1 tie with Tigres in the first leg of the Mexican Torneo Apertura.

The Clasico Regio was played at Tigres' Estadio Universitario, known as the "Volcan" stadium. The second leg will be played Sunday at Monterrey's Estadio BBVA Bancomer.
