U.S. Abroad Tracker (25 and younger): Pulisic's Dortmund ends eight-game winless streak

Christian Pulisic played the first 70 minutes as Borussia Dortmund won its first Bundesliga game since September, beating Mainz, 2-0, in Coach Peter Stoeger's first game at the helm.

Pulisic, who shot wide from 14 yards in the 51st minute, was replaced by Mahmoud Dahoud after an unimpressive performance. Sokratis Papastathopoulos opened the scoring in the 55th minute and Shinji Kagawa struck in the 89th minute. The victory ended an eight-game Bundesliga winless streak.

• While Bobby Wood remains sidelined with a knee injury, Hamburg SV fell, 2-1 at home to Eintracht Frankfurt (for which Timothy Chandler assisted twice) and dropped into the relegation zone.

• Defender Caleb Stanko was a late sub for Freiburg, whose 1-0 win over Borussia Moenchengladbach moved it out of the relegation zone, from 16th to 13th place.
