MLS Moves: RSL completes permanent move for Brooks Lennon

A Real Salt Lake-Arizona academy product who moved to Liverpool and returned loan, Brooks Lennon  has signed a new RSL contract.

Lennon, who played for the USA at the 2017 U-20 World Cup, returned from Liverpool to Real Salt Lake for the 2017 season. RSL has now acquired him from the English premier League club on a permanent basis.

Lennon moved to Liverpool during the summer of 2015 and played for its U-23s.

Los Angeles Galaxy: Signed Venezuelan defender Rolf Feltscher on a free transfer. Feltscher, 27, last played for Cardiff City in the League Championship (second division) and has earned 19 caps for his country.

Philadelphia: Re-signed defender Fabinho and midfielders Fabian Herbers and Ilsinho. Fabinho, 32, was out of contract; the options on Herbers, 24, and Ilsinho, 32, had been declined.

Real Salt Lake: Converted the loan of former U.S. U-20 international Brooks Lennon from Liverpool into a transfer. Lennon, 20, scored three goals and logged four assists for RSL in 25 games (15 starts) last season.

San Jose: Signed Swedish striker Magnus Eriksson as a Designated Player in a transfer deal from Djurgardens IF. Eriksson, 27, tied for the Allsvenskan scoring lead with 14 goals in 2017.
