U.S. Abroad: Robinson sets up winner for first Bolton Wanderers road win in 999 days

Antonee Robinson, the son of former Duke player Marlon Robinson, set up Gary Madine's goal with an excellent cross in Bolton Wanderers' 1-0 win at Sheffield United, its first road win in the League Championship in 999 days.

The win was just the fifth in 25 games for Bolton, which acquired the 20-year-old Robinson on loan from Everton. It is 22nd in the 24-team League Championship, trailing Sunderland on goal difference.

Cameron Carter-Vickers, who is on loan to Sheffield United from Tottenham, exited in the 31st minute, shortly after he wrestled Madine to the ground and was lucky to not be whistled for a penalty kick.

Tottenham manager Mauricio Pochettino said he'd wait until the end of January whether to recall Carter-Vickers from the Blades and Josh Onomah from Aston Villa. Sheffield United and Villa are tied for sixth place in the League Championship.
