The Utah Royals made their first international signing since joining the NWSL when they picked up Icelandic midfielder Gunny Jonsdottir
Jonsdottir, 29, is one of the top goal
scorers in Icelandic history and has 48 caps. She played for Toppserien runner-up Valerenga in Norway. She played one season collegiately at Pepperdine in 2010.
