Joe Corona wins in first game for Club America

Joe Corona got off to a winning start at Club America as it won, 1-0, at Queretaro in the first game of Liga MX's Torneo Clausura.

Former Mexico national team coach Miguel Herrera brought Paul Aguilar, Henry Martin and Corona from Tijuana, where he coached them, to America during the winter transfer market.

A fourth former Xolos player, Carlos Vargas, who arrived last summer at America, also started.
