What They're Saying: Thomas Rongen

"I've been to his house three times in the last year as the chief scout for the U.S. men's national team. He's as American as they come. He represented our [under-17 team], our under-20 team [in World Cup qualifying] as well. Not going to the World Cup ourselves, that has been tough. I knew going forward, we might lose some battles. It's a big loss, obviously. He would have liked to play for the U.S., but you know what, his dad is so Mexican, that he wanted him to represent Mexico and I knew it was a losing battle, probably."

Sorry folks, but Rongen's assinine remark about Johnathan's father being "...so Mexican...(sic)" that it is just as assinine as saying that Rongen's made Jonathan to declre for El Tri!!! I wonder if how he'd respond to me saying that Rongen's father is "so European, that he'd play for any Euro team???"

oooooooops, meant to say that Jonathan's father made him (Jonathan) ...  And I wonder how he'd (T.R) respond...

"Assinie" Rongen lies like a rug. Typical self-promoter with bowtie since becoming part of the U.S. development program.  This is a repetition of his dealings with Subotic 10-years ago. Watch him on BeIn sports; he's full of himself.
