Youth: 10 Californians on U.S. U-15 boys roster

Coach Dave van den Bergh  begins the 2018-19 U-15 boys national team cycle with a 36-player camp in Florida.

All players in the squad were born in 2004, with the exception of 2005-born Kevin Kelley, who plays in Paris Saint-Germain's youth program.

Ten players hail from California clubs and five each from Texas and Washington state.

The Jan. 13-20 in Sunrise, Florida, will include an intra-squad game and games against 2002 and 2003s from U.S. Soccer Development Academy club Weston FC.

Van den Bergh is preparing the 2004s for the 2019 Concacaf U-15 Championship.

    My count             is 17 with Latino names in case anyone is standing by to argue that the Latino community is being overlooked.
