MLS: Revs fall to Palmeiras in first official preseason game

Midfielder Marshall Leonard scored for New England as it went down, 2-1, against Brazil's Palmeiras in the Revs' first official preseason game.

Reinaldo's 89th-minute rocket past keeper Matt Reis provided the Brazilians' gamewinner after Everaldo's 82-minute free kick past Reis equalized the game.

Leonard's goal, in the 73rd minute, came after he slotted home a rebound of keeper Diego from a Taylor Twellman shot
