NWSL trade: 'Players to be named later' turn out to include Lloyd, Press and Kerr

The first two trades during the NWSL College Draft were complex deals including multiple players.

When the names of the players were reported by the Philadelphia Inquirer and Daily News' Jonathan Tannenwald, they included U.S. national team stars Carli Lloyd and Christen Press and Australian Sam Kerr, arguably the best player in the world in the last year.

The first deal was:

1: Houston Dash trade two players to be named later, the #6 and #24 overall pick in the 2018 NWSL College Draft to Chicago Red Stars for a player to be named later, an international roster spot and the #7 overall pick in the 2018 NWSL College Draft.

The players in the deal: Lloyd and Janine Beckie from Houston to Chicago for Press.

2: Chicago Red Stars trade three players to be named later, the #6 and #13 overall picks in the 2018 NWSL College Draft to Sky Blue FC for two players to be named later and the #15 overall pick in the 2018 NWSL College Draft.

Lloyd, Beckie and Jen Hoy from Chicago to Sky Blue FC for Kerr and Nikki Stanton.
