The USA, coached by Mark Carr, was drawn into Group B along with Costa Rica, Bermuda and Canada. The top two finishers in each group advance to the semifinals, whose winners along with the third-place game victor earn berths in the 2018 Women's World Cup in Uruguay (Nov. 13-Dec. 1).
"It's great to know our opponents in Managua as we've been waiting for the chance to qualify for the 2018 Under-17 Women's World Cup for a long time," said Carr, who succeeded B.J. Snow as U-17 head coach after coaching the core of the current team since they were U-15s.
