Australian W-League champions start nine NWSL players

Jess Fishlock and Jodie Taylor, who will play for the NWSL's Seattle Reign, scored to give Melbourne City a 2-0 win over Sydney City for its third straight victory in the Australian W-League Grand Final.

They were among nine players contracted with NWSL teams for the 2018 season who started for Melbourne City. Taylor signed with the Reign from English club Arsenal.

Melbourne City's Ashley Hatch and Sydney FC's Emily Sonnett headed to join the U.S. women's national team in Orlando, where it is preparing for the SheBelieves Cup.
