U.S. Youth Soccer CEO Chris Moore gets contract extension

U.S. Youth Soccer extended CEO Christopher Moore’s contract through February 2021.

Moore came to to U.S. Youth Soccer, based in Frisco, Texas, in February 2015 after serving for four years as the president and COO of GENYOuth, a non-profit organization that worked with the NFL, National Dairy Council and three government agencies.

“With tremendous leadership and professionalism, Chris Moore has furthered the US Youth Soccer mission and guided our vision for the future,” said U.S. Youth Soccer board chair Jesse Harrell in a statement. “Chris championed changes to our organizational structure, spearheaded the addition and renewal of official U.S. Youth Soccer sponsorships and assembled a new management team.”

U.S. Youth Soccer, which has undergone governance and bylaw changes, has added national brands CLIF Kid, Dick’s Sporting Goods, Sun-Maid Raisins, Target and Yokohama.
