U.S. U-20 women beat France, 1-0, in Brittany opener

The U.S. under-20 women's national team opened its trip to Brittany with a 1-0 win over U-20 Women's World Cup host France.

Brianna Pinto’s first U-20 goal was the difference for the USA, which got a big game in goal from Amanda McGlynn. The Virginia Tech keep recorded seven saves to pick up her first shutout at the U-20 level.

The U-20s traveled to Brittany to get a flavor of the Under-20 Women's World Cup. Vannes will be one of the four host cities in Brittany for this summer's Under-20 Women's World Cup.
