For the second time in his MLS career, Trinidadian Kevin Molino
has been sidelined with a knee injury.
The Minnesota United midfielder will undergo surgery to repair a torn ACL of
his left knee and is expected to miss the rest of the 2018 season.. He suffered the injury in the 2-1 win at his former club, Orlando City, on Saturday. He was stretchered off in the 51st minute.
Molino tore the ACL in his right knee in 2015. He was traded to Minnesota United before the start of its first MLS season in 2017 and finished with seven goals and nine assists. He scored
twice in the 2018 opener at San Jose and assisted on the first goal at Orlando City.
