Scorecard: Who's supporting whom in World Cup 2026 bid race

Public declarations of support have been rare in recent weeks as the battle between United 2026 (USA, Canada and Mexico) and Morocco for the 2026 World Cup hosting rights winds down.

The support of Myanmar for Morocco, which came in the form of a statement from its federation president Zaw Zaw following a meeting Morocco's ambassador to Thailand, is an exception. If Morocco can garner widespread support within Asia for its bid, it will have a chance of toppling the favored North America bid.

For the first time, FIFA will conduct a public vote, releasing which federation voted for which candidate.

There are 211 FIFA members, though only 206 members are currently eligible to vote. The four bidders aren't allowed to vote, while Guatemala is suspended by FIFA.

If Guatemala votes, the winner will need 104 of 207 votes. If Guatemala doesn't and there's a tie at 103-103, FIFA has put a tiebreaker in place -- the 2026 World Cup hosting rights will go to the bidder with the higher technical score, which will be United 2026.

Here are the 211 FIFA members, by confederation, and those for which there are public expressions of support (and the source).
