What They're Saying: Lilian Thuram

“When I think about what the sport should bring to our children it’s abiding by the rules, to play fair … Donald Trump is not on this path. I think that he’s driven by a ‘power game.' He believes in using power to bully and that the strongest can dominate the weaker and the richest can despise the poor."

-- Lilian Thuram, who is the most capped player in French men's history and an ambassador for Morocco's World Cup 2026 bid. (Guardian)

Another pseudo intellectual, could be a professor I imagine. Trump the bugoise, everyone else the proletariat, how naive and outdated. Lilian, how is it that you were availed to speak French? I’d be alright if Morocco hosts, I want to see us play in the Cup on merit, not by default. Heck, nearly a quarter of all countries will get in anyway.
