Atlanta United will be without U.S. men's national team midfielder Darlington Nagbe
for 2-3 months because of an injury to his right adductor suffered in the second half of Sunday’s 1-1
tie with Portland.
The injury came one day before he was named to the MLS all-star team.
In a move unrelated to Nagbe's injury, the Five Stripes signed Argentine midfielder
, who has spent his entire professional career in Argentina’s Primera Division with Banfield. He’ll be available when the secondary transfer window opens on July 10.
The 23-year-old Remedi, who has made 68 appearances across all competitions in three years, is expected to take over as the Atlanta United No. 6.
