In a last-ditch move, German goalkeeper Manuel Neuer decided to play forward in the last minute -- and Son Heung-min took advantage to make it 2-0.

Punished for a team mental lapse on the first goal.

Yeah, Neuer's foray into the offensive end wasn't well thought out, probably driven by a combination of frustration and desperation.  Leaving the goal open to add another field player to the guys knocking it around looking to pump a ball into the box was not a smart move.  Coming up for a corner kick (when you're Neuer's size and decent in the air), maybe.

The perspective on the Mexican win against Germany has increases in scope  a little clearer. Yes, mexico played well and deserved it but ,I think, a lot has to do with the German team not being very good ,therefore we need to temper the Euphoria and its implication as far as Mexican soccer program goes....

I meant to say in light of the Mexican vs Swedish game 0-3. The euphoria about the Mexican soccer progam after the German win needs to be looked at more with sobriety...

Frank, ofcourse you are correct, but let the euphoria go on anyway. It's more fun that way:)
