Stoke City has signed 16-year-old American Dillon Keane
to its first-year academy program.
Keane, who played for the U.S. under-16 national team last summer, left the San Jose
Earthquakes academy program last fall to move to England. He had five goals in 11 games for the Quakes' U-16/17s in 2017-18. He played for Quakes teams for two seasons after starting out in the
Development Academy at the De Anza Force.
He was one of 11 players Stoke City signed as first-year scholars. They included three from French club Amiens.
