Belgian television manufacturer will gladly pay out after Hazard's goal

Belgian electronics company Krefel will have to make good on its promise of giving a full refund to customers who had purchased televisions 55 inches or more if Belgium scored more than 15 goals at the 2018 World Cup.

The 15th and 16th goals were scored Saturday in the Red Devils' 2-0 win over England in the third-place game. They should finish as the tournament's top-scoring team thanks to the goals from Thomas Meunier and Eden Hazard.

The offer made by Krefel, founded in 1958 and based in Humbeek, did not specify when the television needed to have been purchased.

Before the third-place game, Krefel CEO Pascal Poulet said the offer was made in the spirit of the company's patriotism and its optimism for the Red Devils.
