The Question for you, Trevor Noah, WHY did these 'Immigrants' (17 in toto, of the World Cup French team) leave the Continent of AFRICA and Not play presently for their particular African country ----- (such as, the South Africa Natonal Soccer Team, etcetera)????? YES, an interesting Question, please 'CHANT' me your Answer, Trevor!
Perhaps becuase most of them were actually born in France and are French first, even if their parents or grandparents were originally from Africa. If they are good enough to make the French team, they naturally play for France. If not, they play for an African country (which is why so many of the African teams include players who were born or raised in France).
OMG Austinyou really think France is some homogenous country.they are like USA, country of several generations of immigrants. Ask this question why is US national team not looking like the French.the Latino population really don’t represent in our national team.
