Quick Hits: U.S. Abroad Weekend

Belgium. Brendan Hines-Ike, 23, made his debut for Belgian first division club Kortrijk, starting as a defender in its 4-1 loss to Anderlecht on the opening day of the 2018-19 Jupiler Pro League. He was signed from Swedish club Orebro.

-- Frantzdy Pierrot, signed by Royal Excel Mouscron out of Coastal Carolina University, started up front in a 2-1 loss to KV Oostende. The Haitian-American from Massachusetts was on Haiti's 2017 Gold Cup roster but did not play.

England. Luca de la Torre, who played all of 50 minutes off the bench in the League Championship last season, started for promoted EPL club Fulham in its match against Fiorentina in the Cup of Traditions played in Germany.
