Bayern Munich CEO
Karl-Heinz Rummenigge is not in any rush to replace German star
Jerome Boateng if he is transferred to Paris St. Germain, downplaying suggestions that Bayern will sign
22-year-old French World Cup champion
Benjamin Pavard from VfB Stuttgart.
Rummenigge went on to list options Bayern already has at center back, including 18-year-old American
Chris Richards "We have [
Mats] Hummels, we have [
Niklas] Suele, we have [
Javi] Martinez, who can play in the central defense, also [
David] Alaba, and
another two youth players,
Lukas Mai and Chris Richards," Rummenigge told Sport Bild. "That’s a lot of quality."
Richards joined Bayern last month on loan from FC Dallas and
impressed on its summer tour in the International Champions League.
