It took parts of two seasons but keeper Lalo Fernandez
finally made his debut for Tigres, starting in its 0-0 tie
with Cafetaleros de Tapachula in the Copa MX.
Fernandez, 25, had played all of one game -- a U.S. Open Cup match -- for Real Salt Lake in his six seasons with the MLS club. He was part of
the RSL academy’s first graduating class in 2011.
