Soccer is unique among American sports in many ways. One is that the USA has a governing body, the U.S. Soccer Federation, which regulates who may coach at the which levels, depending on the licensesit grants through its coaching schools. We spoke with U.S. Soccer’s Nico Romeijn (Chief Sport Development Officer) and Ryan Mooney (Chief Soccer Officer)about concerns we’ve heard from the American soccer community about the licensing process.
