Watch: DeAndre Yedlin's eventful afternoon against Chelsea end in misfortune

Back after a week off because of a knee injury, DeAndre Yedlin set up Newcastle United's tying goal in the 83rd minute against Chelsea only to gift the Blues a 2-1 win with an own goal five minutes later.

Yedlin elbowed French World Cup champion Olivier Giroud on a challenge for a ball in the Chelsea end, but no foul was called, and the Magpies right back whipped in a perfect cross that Joselu headed home.

Minutes later, Yedlin unfortunately stabbed at Marcos Alonso's shot that seemed to be headed wide of the far post and direct the ball into the goal for the winner for Chelsea, which had 81 percent of possession.
