NBC Sports is partnering with the English Premier League to take its weekend studio show on tour, beginning with a stop in Washington, D.C., on Sept. 29.
The studio team of host Rebecca
Lowe and analysts Robbie Earle, Kyle Martino and Robbie Mustoe will broadcast "Premier League Mornings" live on N. Capitol Street beginning at 7 a.m. ET on NBCSN. The event will feature a fan
festival.
“Premier League clubs have a fantastic and loyal fan base in the United States and we value their commitment to the competition," Premier League managing director Richard
Masters said in a statement. "Through NBC’s broadcasting, they have created a ritual of early morning viewing and we want to celebrate that.”
Good grief, couldn't they get some former English, good/great players of the EPL to commentate. Like Paul Scholes, Andy Gray, etc, others, who really know the ins and outs. We are 50 years behind the times, here when it comes to soccer analysts and color commentating...
