Renato Sanches' goal for Bayern Munich in a 2-0 Champions League win over his former team, Benfica, was special in several ways. The six-pass counterattack started at Bayern's corner
flag, included a brilliant back-heel from Arjen Robben to Sanches, who dribbled 60 yards down field and ultimately finished a James Rodriguez delivery. Sanches, who joined
Benfica at age 9, moved to Bayern Munich after helping Portugal win the 2016 Euro. Benfica fans responded with a standing ovation even though Sanches' goal meant defeat for their team in the Lisbon's
Stadium of Light. Sanches had initially struggled in Germany after the $40 million transfer and spent 2017-18 on loan to Swansea City.
